The Spillway Road (SC 12) is closed due
to unsafe driving conditions. The St. Charles Parish Sheriff's Department will ticket those observed traveling the road or tampering with barricades.

NORCO ADULT DAY CARE WILL HOST VARIETY SHOW JULY 25

LEARN ABOUT TAX INCENTIVES WORKSHOP AUG. 19 & 20

Free workshops on tax incentives are set for 8:30 a.m. to noon Aug. 19 and 20 at the South Centeral Planning and Development Commission, 5058 W. Main St., Houma. Attendees can expect presentations about Louisiana Economic Development, Louisiana Department of Labor, Louisiana Brown Field Tax Incentive and IRS Public Transportation Incentives. ST. CHARLES ASSESSOR'S MILLAGE MEETING JULY 30

The St. Charles Parish Assessor's Office will hold public hearing at 2 p.m. July 30 at the St. Charles Parish Courthouse, 15045 River Road, Hahnville, to consider levying additional or increased millage rates without further voter approval or adopting the adjusted millage rate and rolling forward to a millage not to exceed the prior year's maximum.
