UPDATES / ANNOUNCEMENTS


ALL SOFTBALL GAMES SCHEDULED FOR AUGUST 31st HAVE BEEN CANCELLED.

 ***ATTENTION ADULT BASKETBALL***

ALL Adult Basketball Games scheduled to be played in the LANDRY Gym,
will now be played in the
J.B. MARTIN Gym for the REMAINDER OF THE SEASON.

This is due to the Air Conditioning System being replaced at Landry.

Thank you for you cooperation.


  • Registration is now being accepted for Football, Cheerleading, Volleyball & FALL BASEBALL

    Location: St. Charles Parish Recreation Office

    Dates: July 1st through August 4th

    Time: 8:30am to 3:30pm

    There will also be 2 late registration dates for those who can not make it before 3:30pm.

    Locations: E.J. Landry & Harry Hurst

    Dates: July 13 & July 21

    Time: 6pm to 8pm


  • NOTE: When filling out a Parks & Recretation Registration Form, you must ALSO fill out the Registration form for your respective Booster Clubs. Thanks.


  • Attention past all-star players for youth baseball / basketball
    If you are missing your birth certificate, please call the Parks and Recreation Office at (985) 783-5090. We have several birth certificates from the previous year that have not been picked up.

The much-anticipated Wetland Watchers Park is set to open in the fall, though enthusiastic local residents have already been eyeing the 28-acre facility.

The Parks and Recreation Department hosts the second annual Camp Shriver from June 29 through July 1 daily from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Ethel Schoeffner Elementary School.
