The mission of the St. Charles Parish Government Access Channel is to make local government more accessible and understandable to the citizens of St. Charles Parish. The channel can be seen 24 hours, 7 days a week on Cox Cable Channel 6 in St. Charles Parish. It is organized and produced by the St. Charles Parish Public Information Office and the Office of Emergency Preparedness. The Channel also disseminates important information in emergency events. As a parish resource, the channel is made available to government departments and agencies, as well as local nonprofit groups who wish to publicize upcoming events or information in the public interest. To publicize an event on Channel 6, please fill out the updates form at least two weeks prior to the event. ATTENTION CITIZENS: The Government Access Channel is always looking for pictures and video of parish events and people. Please contact Renee C. Allemand at rallemand@stcharlesgov.net or (985) 783-5000 to submit your information to our 'Around the Parish' segment.
