St. Charles Parish will hold a hurricane preparedness information session for residents from 9:30-11 a.m. July 10 at the Edward A. Dufresne Community Center, 274 Judge Edward Dufresne Parkway in Luling.

The information session, sponsored by the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) will feature key parish staff presenting vital information for residents to know for hurricane season.

“As part of the disaster services focus area of our grant, hosting this session is a way to reach out to the residents and engage our volunteers to be prepared,” said RSVP Director Michelle Higgins. “St. Charles Parish is very proactive when it comes to hurricane preparedness and we hope to strengthen the knowledge and confidence of our residents to do the same.”

Attendees are invited to ask questions and light refreshments will be served.
