ANNUAL RABIES VACCINATIONS DAY SET FOR APRIL 29

The St. Charles Parish Humane Society will hold its annual Rabies Vaccinations Day from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 29 at the East Bank (Destrehan) and West Bank (Luling) Bridge Parks.

The cost per vaccine will be $10, and microchips will be offered for $20. There will be no limit on microchips.

Local ordinance requires all dogs and cats to be vaccinated against rabies on an annual basis, and owners are required to be able to show proof of the date of vaccination administered by a licensed veterinarian.
